Duett Launches Software Platform In Partnership with CICOA and Collective Works

Not more than three years ago, equipped with a white board and a license to innovate, Jonathan Haag and Chad Bales of CICOA, an Indiana Area Agency on Aging (AAA), set out to tackle a problem which they would later discover was pervasive to AAAs nationally.  These AAA organizations created by federal mandate act as the front line of community based services such as home health.  As emergency departments are the gate keeper welcoming mats to inpatient hospital services, so are AAAs the gate keeper welcoming mats to outpatient social services.

This fateful white board session eventually led to the development of a bare bones testable product that was put into real life use in central Indiana. Immediately there were results. Clients connected to services in minutes for which they had been searching for months. AAA case managers gave up hours of cold calls for minutes of web submissions. Home health providers were immediately empowered with transparency to proactively compete for client business.

Equipped with this newfound intelligence and market research recommending aggressive pursuit, Duett Inc was launched by CICOA and its venture partner Collective Works. Cody Pittman an acquisition from a California based PR firm was hired as CEO and charged with sharing this innovation with the remainder of the AAA network.

“We are thrilled to be launching this new software platform with CICOA, not only as a partner but as a client as well,” said Cody Pittman. “They believe in what we have built and we are excited to take Duett’s platform to other AAA’s. We want to find and partner with other AAA’s that share CICOA’s drive to take care of their clients and help their staff build efficiencies and save time.”

As of now, Duett is accepting both CICOA’s provider network as well as other AAA’s around Indiana to join the platform.
